About the workshop:
To remain competitive,
nonprofits continually strive to show a strong financial position and a proven
track record when requesting funds. “Building Cash Reserves” is designed
to address the fundamentals of creating a cash reserve line item within an
effective budget, and how doing so helps position a nonprofit organization for
stability and growth. The workshop will provide the tools needed for
organizations to effectively budget for the future. In addition, we will hear from a local arts organization's staff/board partnership in building a cash reserve that realistically met the current economic challenges.
